Boody: my own Grok Bot
Boody is my own version of the Grok Bot app: a simple Android app where each “bot” is a Claude Code session on my server, and it does real work instead of just chatting. There’s no control panel. I ask in a few words and the bot uses its tools.
The one I use most is Phone. I say “make the font a bit bigger” and it happens on my Pixel, no root. It works on a hidden second display, so my own screen stays mine, it logs every change with a way to undo it, and anything risky waits for my yes.

How it works
- Modelled on Grok Bot: a row of bot faces, one line per conversation, grey bubbles for the bots and inline cards for anything that needs my OK.
- Each bot has exactly one conversation, kept for good, so it remembers earlier work. Long chats are compacted, and what must last lives in the bot’s own notes.
- Every bot is a Claude Code session with its own instructions and tools. A chief-of-staff bot, boody, hands work to the others.
- The Phone bot drives my Pixel over adb on a hidden 1080×1920 virtual display only the server sees, and takes a screenshot before and after anything visible. It only uses my real screen when I ask to watch.
- Sending, calling, buying or anything risky shows up as an Allow / Deny card in the chat and waits for my answer.
- The app reaches the server over a private network only, never the open internet.
