Read Efficiently

ai · embeddings · kindle

I own more books than I have evenings. Read Efficiently turns them into one short article a night, on the topics I ask for.

How it works

  • It reads books I own, from my Kindle or as PDFs, and encodes them into a vector space with sentence-transformers.
  • I describe what I want in plain words, “philosophy insights”, and it pulls the closest ideas from across the books.
  • It remembers past articles, so it doesn’t repeat itself.
  • Each night it writes a new 300 to 500 word article and sends it to my Kindle.
